Sciliar Mountain, Sassolungo and Sassopiatto: bizarre summits. Alpe di Siusi: biggest high-alpine pasture in Europe. The Dolomites: the most beautiful structure in the world and a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site!
From our Hotel st. anton you can discover this unique natural landscape and enjoy your vacation in the mountains.

The traffic-reduced Alpe di Siusi can be reached with the cable cars. The high-alpine plateau, as large as 8000 football pitches impresses with a beautiful landscape: lush green in summer with several hundreds of meadow flowers, covered in white in winter. The panorama impresses with majestic summits and a splendid view.

The Dolomites grew in the warm Tethys Sea for 250 million years. When the sea began to decline, the Dolomites grew majestically and bizarrely - different from all the other surrounding mountains. In 1788, scientists found out the reason why: the rock consists of limestone containing magnesium. The Pale Mountains are named after geologist Deodat de Dolomieu. Extra beautiful: sunset – the red shine of the Dolomites.
